This year’s BMFA East Anglian Gala will be held on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th August at RAF Sculthorpe, Norfolk (What3Words: husbands.limiting.skyrocket). There will be a number of FF competitions on both days and on Sunday we will be hosting the 2024 Bowden Trophy for FF sport models (e.g. Tomboys or anything with a cabin and an engine less than 2.5cc). This is a precision competition where competitors attempt to fly for exactly 45 secs from an ROG. The rules can be found on page 43 of the Free Flight Rule Book
Sport Free Flight, Control Line and RC fliers are most welcome to come along to enjoy the vast acres of the airfield but beware the grass is uncut
£5 contribution to costs each day.
Unfortunately, the MOD do not allow jets on Sculthorpe.

The site entrance is at the junction of the A148 Kings Lynn to Fakenham road with the B1454 and travel northwards for 200 metres and the gate way will be on your right. The gate will be manned so have your BMFA card ready.
