Dear Club Chairmen, Secretaries and Delegates
There will be an Area meeting this Thursday via Zoom and you are warmly invited to attend. It’s a chance to have your say in how the BMFA is run. The details are in the events section of the website.
One item we have had feedback on is the new drone rules that came into effect 1st Jan this year with much media fanfare. If there is one take away point for BMFA members it is that there is NO CHANGE for us now, and even from 2028 when Remote ID comes into play, there is unlikely to be any impact as all BMFA registered sites will be exempt (as in the USA now). So keep calm and carry on!!
If you have any points to raise and can’t attend the meeting, just let me know by reply and I will raise it on your behalf. Please let me know if you receive this in error or if there is someone new who should receive these e-mails.
