This year we have the following posts which are up for re-election or election:
• Chairman responsible for chairing and co-ordinating the Area Committee
• Area Delegate who attends meetings of the National Areas Council
• Honorary Secretary who administers the committee
• Outreach Co-ordinator who liases with Helen Jones the BMFA Outreach Director
• Communications Officers (PR) to promote model flying more widely
• British Drone Flyer Representative a new post to liaise with Chris Bradbury the BMFA Drone Flyers Officer
• 1 auditor to check the accuracy of the accounts.
In particular we would like to highlight the post of Area Delegate to the BMFA’s Areas Council which is the coming together of the Association’s 15 Areas and is the most direct route into representing members nationally. It usually involves 3 meetings a year plus a small number of ad hoc meetings on specific topics.
